15 Kids Found Living in 2-Bedroom Apartment With No Toilet Paper and Almost No Food, Police Say

Marietta police arrived at a two-bedroom apartment on Bells Ferry Road in Marietta, Georgia, on September 24, 2026. While the check was originally supposed to be for two children, what they found was so much more horrific than they expected. They discovered that instead of just two, there were 15 children in the apartment, ranging from 1 to 17 years old.

There were supposed to be three adults in the apartment, but the authorities couldn’t reach them. That’s when the detectives decided to work on a warrant, which they eventually got. When they did, the apartment door opened, and the fifteen children came out. This gave the detectives access to search the apartment, but they didn’t like what they saw.

According to the police, the eighteen occupants were living in a two-bedroom apartment with just nine beds. This wasn’t all, because there was no toilet paper, only one jar of peanut butter and a box of uncooked pasta for the children to eat, a blanket with mold growing on it, and marijuana allegedly left somewhere accessible to the children.
