AVANT – Fifteen-year-old Kristian Morton, known as Baby K, is an unlikely but determined source of ideas for community improvement. Baby K entered this world as a one-pound micro preemie. She has cerebral palsy. She is autistic. She has had numerous brain surgeries. She’s also intent on encouraging her neighbors and friends to make Avant, a town of about 300 people, look neater and better maintained.
