AKRON, Ohio – Look up: Blimp Day is back in Akron today – Saturday, June 6, and the city is inviting residents to celebrate the hometown airships that have long been part of its identity.
The day is meant to showcase Akron’s blimp legacy while giving all 24 neighborhoods a chance to catch a view of the Goodyear blimps overhead.
