AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) – When the school year ends, so does access to free meals for thousands of kids. The city of Akron is stepping in with a summer food service program at 15 locations across the city.
Kids 18 years or younger can get a free breakfast and a free lunch at community centers, parks and other city locations, including the Ed Davis Community Center and Lane Field.
