(WJW) — Summer weather is here, and pools and splash pads across Northeast Ohio are now open.

Some facilities offer free admission, while many sell season or daily passes. Hours can also vary depending on the month or special events.

Akron
Balch Street Fitness Center indoor pool, 220 S. Balch St., Akron. Hours are Monday – Friday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. with no lifeguard. You must be a member of the Balch Street Fitness Center.
Perkins Woods Pool, 899 Diagonal Road, Akron, and Reservoir Park Pool, 1735 Hillside Terrace, Akron, are open through August, weather permitting. Hours are Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.

Avon
The Avon Aquatic Facility is open through Aug. 9. Open swim hours are:
- Weekdays: 11:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Weekends: 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday: 11 a.m. – noon
Bay Village
The Bay Village Family Aquatic Center has two slides, diving boards and a splash area.
Beachwood
The Beachwood Family Aquatic Center is open through Sept. 7.
- Monday-Friday: 6:15 – 8:30 a.m. (Lap Swim), 12:15 p.m. – 8 p.m. (Open Swim) *Closes at 7 p.m. every Wednesday
- Saturday: 9-10:45 AM (Lap Swim), 11 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. (Open Swim)
- Sunday: 7-8:45 AM (Lap Swim), 11 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. (Open Swim)
August 26 – Sept. 7 hours
- Thursday-Friday: 6:15 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. (Lap Swim), 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. (Open Swim)

Non-residents are permitted when accompanied by residents.
Berea
The Dave Tressel Memorial Pool is open daily from noon to 7 p.m. through Aug. 9. There is a wading pool, a waterfall mushroom, a large pool, a diving well and a diving board. There is also a slide. More on prices and hours here.
