Alliance native to speak at Carnation Festival luncheon

An Alliance native will be the featured speaker Aug. 1 at the Greater Alliance Carnation Festival’s Community Luncheon.

Teleangé Thomas, who now serves as a community fundraiser in addition to working as an adviser to small businesses, will return to the Carnation City for the event at 11:30 a.m. at the Hoover-Price Campus Center at University of Mount Union.

Thomas attended North Lincoln and Stanton Junior High School in Alliance through eighth grade before she accepted an A Better Chance scholarship to attend State College High School in Pennsylvania…
