CANTON ‒ A 20-year-old city resident originally charged with attempted murder is now facing a lesser charge of felonious assault.
A Stark County grand jury indictment alleges Johnny A. Range caused serious harm to a 63-year-old man on June 18 in Canton.
Range, also called John A. Range III in police records, was accused by police of knocking the victim to the ground during a fight.
