‘Like a bomb’: Explosion levels Ohio home; blast felt for miles

CANTON, Ohio (WJW) – Fire officials in Ohio say they no longer believe a man is missing after a search through a debris field on Thursday following a home explosion.

Witnesses told Nexstar’s WJW that the sound of an explosion at a Canton, Ohio, residence woke them up shortly before 4 a.m. on Thursday.

Canton Fire Division Chief Steve Henderson tells WJW that the explosion could be felt 2 miles away. Canton Fire released video of the moment it happened.
