MEDINA, Ohio – As the city begins a focused effort on improvements to the streetscape and public spaces surrounding Public Square, officials want to hear from residents, business owners and visitors.
The city is working with OHM Advisors in an effort to build on Medina’s comprehensive plan recommendations and to define a long-term vision for the square and identify short-term improvements focused on South Court Street. A link to the survey can be found on the Medina City Hall Facebook page.
“Since the square is the heart of our city, we want to make sure we are getting input from residents, business owners and visitors,” said Community Planning Director Andrew Dutton. “Around our square we have a lot of visitors and events and a lot of active businesses and we want to find a way to move forward where we improve traffic issues and make the space a better place for everyone. We are looking at parking and traffic improvements as well as improvements to the public space, and sidewalks.”…
