AKRON, Ohio — A woman was taken into custody early Monday morning after allegedly stealing an ambulance while firefighters were responding to a medical call in Akron.
According to the Akron Fire Department, crews were dispatched at approximately 1:47 a.m. to the 1600 block of Brittain Road for a medical emergency. While assessing the patient, the woman allegedly entered the ambulance and drove away, fire officials said.
