Volatile woman arrested for possible OVI in Solon leaves injury, broken equipment in her wake

SOLON, Ohio — A woman who did not take kindly to being taken into custody for OVI, struck a corrections officer and firefighter, and broke official equipment.

At 2:10 a.m. April 30, a Chagrin Falls police officer arrested and brought to Solon jail a woman suspected of driving while impaired.

While a corrections officer was attempting to complete the booking process, the woman was reportedly verbally abusive towards officers, refused commands, and would not comply when told to sit in a chair…
