ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Assembly Agriculture Chair Donna Lupardo has been a supporter of New York Family Dairy Farms for a long time. Today, at Dairy Day in Albany, she received an award from the Northeast Dairy Producers Association to acknowledge that they see and feel her support.
Dairy Day is an annual event held in celebration of June Dairy Month. It highlights the state’s top-producing sector of agriculture, as well as the industry’s skilled workforce.
The NEDPA awarded her the Friend of the NEDPA Award for all her support of the Dairy industry. In her two decades of public service, she has backed the Farm Overtime Tax Credit, advocated for funding and programs at Cornell CALS, and informed her colleagues across the state to better understand the challenges and opportunities farms face…
