Four restaurants that recently opened in Schenectady

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A few more restaurants have been added to the Schenectady dining scene. Here are four new restaurants that recently opened around the Electric City.

Solstice Kitchen

Solstice Kitchen, located at 515 State Street, opened in mid-June. The restaurant is from the same owners of Maxon’s American Grill in Glenville.

The menu includes salads, burgers, tacos, flatbread pizza, desserts, and cocktails. You can view the full menu on the Solstice Kitchen Facebook page. Solstice Kitchen is open 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Solana Coffee & Bagel

Solana Coffee & Bagel is located inside the Stockade Inn at 1 North Church Street. It opened in mid-June and is in the former spot of Graham’s Coffee Parlor, which closed in March.

The cafe serves a variety of drinks including coffee, lattes, chai and tea, as well as bagels and pastries. Solana is currently open Tuesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Phoenix Flame Wings

Phoenix Flame Wings, located at 764 1/2 Eastern Avenue, opened in mid-June. The restaurant serves wings and chicken bites in a variety of sauces with various spice levels, chicken tenders, burgers, sandwiches, quesadillas, fries, onion rings, and more. Chicken Feastin

Chicken Feastin, located at 1625 Union Street, opened in late April. The menu features chargrilled chicken and ribs, empanadas, burgers, gyros, salads, and more. You can view the full menu on the Chicken Feastin website.

Brewing company expands with new taproom in Scotia

The restaurant is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
