As teen colleagues at Romo’s Pizzeria & Restaurant in Glenmont more than a decade ago, they worked side by side for months before either considered romance a possibility. Instead, they’d hang out in a big group and connect over a shared interest in TV (she convinced him to binge her favorite show, “The Office”), thriller films and a love of ice cream.
