Amsterdam, NY (WRGB) — A 41-year-old Amsterdam man was arrested after investigators said a string of early-morning thefts from vehicles in and around the Clizbe Avenue area led police to him through surveillance video.
41-year-old David Dugan of Amsterdam, New York, was arrested on Charles Lane in Amsterdam and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, an E felony.
Amsterdam Police and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said they took several reports between March 29, 2026, and April 8, 2026, of a man taking items from vehicles parked outside near Clizbe Avenue. Authorities said the crimes occurred within Amsterdam and the ‘neighboring town of Amsterdam.’…
