At least one Capital Region Walmart, and 23 other New York locations, are about to undergo a fresh makeover. What can you expect from a newly remodeled Walmart? Let’s take a look.
On Thursday April 16th the Walmart corporation announced plans to remodel more than 650 Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets, and celebrate the grand openings of approximately 20 new locations in 2026 and early 2027.

According to Syracuse.com, of the 24 New York locations that will undergo a remodel, the Walmart Supercenter on Route 9 in Halfmoon is one of them. The Walmart on Fairview Avenue in Hudson is also expected to be remodeled. So what can you expect?
