ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- Law enforcement officers, prosecutors and advocates were recognized in Albany for work aimed at stopping drunk and drugged driving.
A total of 124 law enforcement professionals from across New York gathered at the Albany Capital Center with prosecutors and advocacy organizations for the annual recognition event.
The Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee, Mothers Against Drunk Driving and STOP-DWI personnel took part. Award winners were nominated by their supervisors and cited for going above and beyond to keep streets safe from drunk and drugged driving…
