Albany, NY (WRGB) — A late-night dispute over a cigarette on Central Avenue ended with a 34-year-old man suffering life-threatening stab wounds and a 62-year-old attacker headed to state prison.
Albany County District Attorney Lee C. Kindlon announced that James Holmes was sentenced to serve 12 years in state prison followed by five years of post-release supervision after pleading guilty to Assault in the First Degree.
