Albany mayor offers support letters for $200M downtown funding initiative

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) – The City of Albany is encouraging developers and organizations to bring forward “big, bold ideas” as applications open for a $200 million state funding initiative aimed at transforming downtown.

Mayor Dorcey L. Applyrs announced a new process to provide letters of support for projects applying to the state’s Downtown Albany Strategy funding through the Championing Albany’s Potential initiative.
