ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) — The University at Albany announced on Monday that Albany Mayor Dorcey Applyrs and Nobel Prize winner Joachim Frank will return as keynote speakers for its 2026 commencement ceremonies.
According to a University at Albany press release, Applyrs will speak at the undergraduate ceremony on the morning of May 16. Frank, a former UAlbany professor, will speak that afternoon at the graduate ceremony and will also receive an honorary degree.
