COLONIE, N.Y. (WNYT)- Colonie police are stepping up e-bike education as complaints grow about children riding in neighborhoods and at parks.
As warmer weather brings more riders outside, Colonie police said they have been getting complaints about kids riding fast and sometimes without helmets.
“Because it affects their quality of life and it affects their neighborhoods, and people want kids to be outside and enjoying it, but they don’t want zipping around, 20 miles an hour, coming across their lawns, if you will,” Gerace said…
