ALTAMONT — Guilderland-based entrepreneur Jon Phillips is looking to bring a mini-golf course, pizza and ice cream shop to Altamont.
It would be located at 6523 Route 158, next to his businesses Phillips Hardware, Phillips Mini Mart, a Mobil gas station and Dunkin’. Phillips thinks the site would be “a center spot” between Rotterdam and Voorheesville, drawing traffic to Guilderland while serving broader communities.
“For me, I feel like we don’t have anything like this in the Capital Region as a gathering spot,” Phillips said. “This is a project for the Capital Region that’s unique.”…
