WATERVLIET, NY (WRGB) — Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes as Watervliet Police investigate a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
On Thursday, May 8th, 2025, at approximately 9:00 PM, a pedestrian was struck while walking on the sidewalk near the intersection of 19th Street and 4th Avenue.
The investigation has revealed that the vehicle involved left the roadway and struck a tree, a street sign, and the pedestrian prior to coming to rest. Speed, alcohol, and drugs do not appear to be contributing factors in this crash…
