ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A summer of free family-friendly films kicked off in Albany on Friday. Movies Under the Stars will continue through August.

The program, organized by Love Albany, is set to feature a different movie once a month at parks around the city, as well as free popcorn and other family-friendly activities such as lawn games and a bounce house. On Friday, around 300 attendees gathered at the Washington Park Lake House to watch a screening of “Zootopia 2.”
Each event begins at 7:30 p.m., with the selected film starting at sunset. Take a look below for the rest of this summer’s schedule:

- June 19, Swinburne Park — “GOAT”
- July 17, Lincoln Park — “A Minecraft Movie”
- August 21, Ridgefield Park — “Hoppers”
