SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A former Scotia salon reopened its doors in downtown Schenectady on Thursday. Grand Salon is located at 9 Yates Street.
The salon was first opened on Glen Avenue in 2020 by sisters Jenelle Cardone and Jen Gabriele. The two said they decided to move to Schenectady to try to expand the business.
“We are excited to see them flourish in their beautifully renovated salon on Yates Street,” said Maureen Neufeld, executive director of Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corp. “Jen and Jenelle have an incredible vision for the salon, and we can’t wait to see all the stunning looks they will create in their new space.”…
