Albany man arrested for shooting in Swinburne Park, had active arrest warrant

ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — A series of shots fired reports to the Albany Police Department led to the arrest of a 19-year-old man from the Capital city.

It started with a shots-fired call to APD on Saturday, May 16th, at 7:20 p.m.

Officers responded to the 300 block of Orange Street near Henry Johnson Boulevard, where they found a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his hand. The victim was treated on scene by Albany Fire Department and EMS personnel. The victim was transported to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries…
