Albuquerque non-profit aids homeless with wellness kits

The homeless in Albuquerque are getting more help thanks to the work of a local non-profit. As part of their bi-weekly wellness kit initiative, volunteers helped the “Ripple 2 Wave Foundation” hand out care packages as well as perform some clean-up around the community.

The care packages are donation-driven and intended to provide essential necessities. “We are handing out socks, we are handing out toothpaste, deodorant, soap things like that. We have sandwiches, we have 100 hot dogs here today, we have 50 doughnuts that were donated, said Corey Pierre.
