ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Most areas are drying out Wednesday, unless you live in far northeastern New Mexico where a low-pressure system continues to churn out rain and storms.
Rain showers and a couple of thunderstorms are forecast for San Miguel County, north to Colfax County and east towards Union and Quay counties this afternoon and evening. Some along the Central Mountain Chain and east will have low rain chances late this evening.
Additional rainfall will be low for most that see the rain. Clayton could receive upwards of a half an inch of rain, putting them and the northeast half of Union County in a marginal risk of flash flooding today.
