NEW MEXICO (KRQE) — The New Mexico Rail Runner is expanding service for the summer months. Starting on June 1, changes will be made to the 508 and 525 trains. They will also be adding a new train, number 511.

Northbound
- Train #508 – Service on Train #508 will continue to the Santa Fe Depot, making all stops along the way. (This train currently terminates at Downtown Albuquerque.)
Southbound
- Train #505 – This will replace the current #507 train, making the same stops at the same times, departing the Santa Fe Depot at 5:39 a.m. and terminating in Belen at 7:50 a.m.
- Train #507 – This will replace the current #509 train, making the same stops at the same times, departing the Santa Fe Depot at 7:08 a.m. and terminating in Belen at 9:29 a.m.
- Train #509 – This will replace the current #511 train, making the same stops at the same times, departing the Santa Fe Depot at 10:11 a.m. and terminating in Downtown Albuquerque at 11:44 a.m.
- Train #511 – New! This train will depart the Santa Fe Depot at 12:10 p.m. and terminate in Downtown Albuquerque at 1:48 p.m., making all stops along the way.
- Train #525 – This train will temporarily operate on Thursday and Friday evenings, departing the Santa Fe Depot at 10:05 p.m. and terminating in Downtown Albuquerque at 11:30 p.m., making all stops along the way. (This train currently only runs on Friday nights.)
The new schedule will be in place through October, and there will be no changes to the Saturday or Sunday schedule…
