Showers and thunderstorms have already developed before the afternoon in the Sacramento and Northern Mountains. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Flood Advisory in the southern part of the Sacramento Mountains that will last until 2:45 pm for 0.5-1″ of rain that has already fallen. A Flash Flood Warning was also issued, which includes the village of Ruidoso, that will last until 4 pm. Flood Watches were issued today from the NWS for locations that could pick up heavy rainfall and lead to flooding. Sections of McKinley and Cibola Counties will have a watch in place until 9 pm.
