ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A fire at an Albuquerque apartment complex Saturday morning left six residents displaced, according to Albuquerque Fire Rescue.
At 10:42 a.m. firefighters responded to 1117 Louisiana Blvd. SE for reports of a fire. Crews arrived and reported smoke showing from the backside of a single story 4-plex, AFR said.
Monsoon moisture to bring weekend showers, storms to New Mexico
The fire was brought under control within 10 minutes of firefighter’s arrival. A dog, a cat, and a toad were rescued from the apartment. The Red Cross is assisting three of the residents and three are staying with family.
The cause of the fire is determined to be accidental. A total of 17 apparatus and 43 firefighters responded, AFR said…
