NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – September is PNM’s Copper Theft Awareness Month and the utility company is educating and warning customers about copper theft and ways to possibly prevent it. Copper is a metal widely used in electrical wiring and its high market value has made it a target for thieves at homes and businesses.
