ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A family of bears has moved into a Northeast Heights neighborhood. It’s the latest wildlife sighting in what some have deemed the “summer of bears.”
It was a typical day for a Northeast Heights couple when, all of a sudden:
“We were expecting some work to be done in our backyard…[my husband] went out, he noticed there was poop on the sidewalk,” the homeowner said. “We don’t have any animals. We don’t have dogs. He looked around and then he looked up, and there they were, a mama bear and her two cubs.”…
