(NewsNation) — New information has surfaced about the Feb. 27 disappearance of William Neil McCasland, but a longtime friend and professional colleague says he’s just as baffled about what may have happened to the retired Air Force major general.
“I’m just totally mystified. I have no understanding whatsoever how you can walk out your front door and vanish,” Sherman McCorkle told “Katie Pavlich Tonight” on Friday. “Nothing makes any sense.”
The Albuquerque tech developer said he first met the personable McCasland in the early 2000s when the officer ran a space vehicles program at Kirtland Air Force Base. He said many were impressed by McCasland’s intelligence, noting his friend possessed six different degrees.
