ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Many gathered at Triangle Park in Nob Hill Saturday as part of a community celebration for the Route 66 Centennial. The Rhythm and Roots on Route 66 celebration was put on by the Nob Hill Mainstreet with a lineup of live music by local musicians and a variety of food trucks.

“At the end of the day, our neighborhoods are our strength, right, and just getting to get together with people from the neighborhoods, the joining of arts and culture, you know, the creative economy is such a big part of Albuquerque’s ecosystem,” said volunteer Chris Smith.
