Calmer conditions after cool front in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The “cool” front that impacted during your Mother’s Day is in our rear view mirror but temperatures aren’t much cooler after it.

A surface high pressure system dropped south, along eastern New Mexico, which is helping to settle those stronger winds we had Sunday night. We’ll keep winds light and variable throughout Monday.

We’re looking at a very sunny day across the Land of Enchantment for most areas. A few mountainous areas may see some clouds develop but it will be mixed with sunshine…
