[2] Sing Me A Story: 9 year-old heart transplant recipient’s story turned into song – A 9-year-old boy’s story about receiving a life-saving heart transplant and waking up a hero is being brought to life by a full symphony orchestra in Albuquerque. At just 5-years-old, Hunter Rael was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. He’s now 9-years-old and has had multiple heart surgeries. While in recovery at a hospital in Denver, the Sing Me a Story Foundation reached out to Hunter and his mom to turn his story into a song.
