Cold front leaves cooler temperatures and breezy winds behind it

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A potent cold front sped through eastern New Mexico early Tuesday morning, leaving cooler temperatures and breezy winds behind it.

Most places are starting off 5-15 degrees cooler than just yesterday morning, with far northern areas dropping into the 30s!

This afternoon, we’ll rebound temp-wise with highs ranging from the 70 to the 80s for most. A couple of spots could reach the 90s still this afternoon in far southern New Mexico, such as Carlsbad…
