SPRINGFIELD, Va. (DC News Now) — One person needed to be rescued and taken to the hospital after a crash on Interstate 95 in Fairfax County, officials said Tuesday.
The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department (FCFRD) responded just after 5 p.m. to I-95 South close to the Interstate 395 split.
Driver dead after single-car crash in Springfield
When crews got there, they saw several vehicles that had been involved in a crash. One person was trapped.
Firefighters rescued the individual and transported them to the hospital.
