Downtown Silver Spring-based CCI Health Services has welcomed the inaugural class of its Family Medicine Residency Program, marking the healthcare nonprofit’s official transition to a teaching institution.
The program, which was first announced by the Federally Qualified Health Center in 2024, is designed to help address a significant shortage of primary care providers in Prince George’s County by training physicians in medically underserved communities.
