WASHINGTON (7News) — Community members in D.C. sent nonstop reports that signs were popping up in front of their homes banning them from parking in front of their own property.
Residents have been able to park in front of their homes for decades, but recently 7News learned the city is now removing those spaces and using a law from 2003 to do it.
A law from 2003 said these cars can’t park here because they’re less than five feet from a driveway, even if it’s their own (Removal and Disposition of Abandoned and Other Unlawfully Parked Vehicles Reform Act of 2003)…
