WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Multiple Smithsonian museums were closed Thursday after mechanical issues on the National Mall.
Details are limited; however, the Smithsonian announced on X that the National Museum of the American Indian, Hirshhorn, Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art and Smithsonian National Museum of African Art were all closed.
The Smithsonian Castle, Arts and Industries Building and S. Dillon Ripley Center were also closed Thursday morning.
