Four more suspects charged in botched robbery that left Triangle teen dead

Police have arrested four more suspects in the fatal July 5 shooting of a 16-year-old Triangle boy, a death detectives say stemmed from his own botched robbery attempt in Woodbridge.

The shooting in the 16700 block of Blackjack Oak Lane in the Cherry Hill area involved a scheme in which the victim and two others planned to rob 25-year-old Damion Jamon Atwater of Woodbridge, Prince William County police Lt. Jonathan Perok said in a news release.
