Young crowds run through Navy Yard during extended curfew, days before law expires

WASHINGTON (7News) — Large crowds of young people were seen gathering and running through the Navy Yard area of D.C. Saturday night, when the area was designated a juvenile curfew zone that prohibited kids from gathering in groups of nine or more beginning at 8 p.m.

Metropolitan Police and law enforcement partners responded, and the crowds were dispersed, according to MPD. The department did not make any arrests.
