WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A woman was shot in Northeast on Thursday night.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said the incident happened at around 8:15 p.m. along Minnesota and Eastern avenues.

Responding officers arrived and found a woman in the 4900 block of Quarles Street. She had been shot in the lower body but was still conscious and breathing.
She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…
