WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) addressed public criticism about transparency after a man died near the Fourth District police station.

On Monday, April 13, around 1:30 p.m., Fourth District officers received a report about an unconscious person in the 900 block of Quackenbos St. NW. Police found a man hanging from a tree limb. Crews responded to the scene and attempted life-saving measures, but the man died.
