From temperatures in the 90’s a few days ago to sub-freezing temperatures as low as 26 to 30 degrees… the region is riding a wild weather roller coaster. Areas effected – portions of central, north central, northeast, and northern Maryland, central, northern, northwest, and western Virginia, and panhandle West Virginia.
The watch goes from late Monday night through Tuesday morning. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold…
