OXON HILL, Md. (DC News Now) — An investigation is underway in Prince George’s County after a person was found dead inside a burning vehicle Wednesday morning, police said.
Prince George’s County police said officers discovered the body inside the vehicle in the 4500 block of Wheeler Hills Road after responding to the area at around 9:45 a.m. for a vehicle fire. This is near the Maryland-Washington, D.C. line.
Officers reported finding the body in the driver’s seat after firefighters extinguished the flames.
