FAIRFAX, Va. — A person is in the hospital after a house fire in Fairfax Thursday night. Firefighters say they were pulled from the home and taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue crews were called to a home in the 4400 block of San Carlos Drive, near Fairfax Villa Park, for a report of a house fire just before 9 p.m. When firefighters got there, they found smoke coming from the basement of the single-family home, and one person was missing.
