Lorton man charged with burglary, auto theft at Fairfax Station church

FAIRFAX STATION, Va. (7News) — Police arrested a man for breaking into a church, stealing property and fleeing in a church-owned vehicle April 23, Fairfax County police said.

According to police, Akuamoa Boateng, 30, of Lorton, entered the church located in the 4900 block of Ox Road by breaking a glass sliding door.

Boateng was arrested less than 24-hours after the burglary when a license plate reader picked up the plates of the stolen vehicle…
